Founded in 1974, MARCOBAY CONSTRUCTION, INC., is a multi-disciplined State Certified Licensed General Contractor. Since 1989, Howard D. Bayless, Mark A. Phillips, and Steve S. Cowperthwaite have presided over the growth of the firm's operations throughout the Southeast.

Marcobay Construction, Inc. has experienced steady growth since the inception of the new officers in 1989. This growth can be seen in the increase of annual revenue by greater than 325 percent during the 15-year span. Marcobay's scope of services has also expanded during this time, currently encompassing mid-rise office buildings, industrial distribution facilities, retail shopping centers, medical and educational facilities. Ninety-five percent of the firm's revenue is derived from repeat business with commercial real estate developers and other long-term clients.
